Maker’s Mark 46 French Oak Bourbon Whisky
Straight Kentucky Bourbon | 47% ABV (94 Proof) | 750‚ÄØmLProcess & Profile
Maker’s Mark 46 begins with the brand’s classic wheated bourbon base, crafted from a mash bill of 70% corn, 16% red winter wheat, and 14% malted barley. After traditional aging in charred new American oak barrels, the whiskey is finished with ten seared French oak staves (Stave Profile No. 46) inserted into the barrel. It rests in a limestone cellar for an additional 9 weeks, allowing the staves to impart complex spice, toasted wood, and deeper vanilla character. The result is a bolder, richer take on the signature Maker’s profile.
